About Duane

Duane Wurst as a young man.  “We are who we were and who we will be forever”

Introducing Duane Wurst

Duane was raised in an enterprising family. His father was a blacksmith/inventor who built a business in Pigeon, Michigan, a small farming community. Each of Duane’s three brothers own small businesses. Duane was the only boy in the clan to attend college. (to be an art teacher). Today he is producing artwork with words, paint, and photography. With an can-do attitude, Duane has found himself in many ventures. As an artist he has sold thousands of works throughout the Midwest. As a teacher, Duane continues to work with students in Huron County, Michigan, and as an author/publisher Duane is now working on his sixth novel.

“Writing a novel gives me the same thrill as completing another oil painting. What is great about the written word is that I can reach more than one person or family. If I could put all of the works of art I have created in one room, I would need a huge building since I have created thousands of images. Each creation is now in a collectors home. If only everyone could enjoy them like you can enjoy my novels.”
